My husband works at a waterpark. Once a week him and a couple of the other supervisers (around his age) go to dinner or hang out with the 16 and 17 year old workers-mostly girls. He claims they are just friends, but I find it a little disturbing that these 26-30 year olds want to hang out with high school girls! What do you think?

Yeah, its a bit odd, but they are coworkers. As long as nothing else is going on. Have you told him how you feel? Keep an eye on that situation.

I'm in the same situation as your hubby. I work at an amusement park. Other supervisors as well as myself hang out w/ mostly teen boy that age. As long as he knows 16 will get him 30 and cares enough about you to stay faithful, it should be OK. Just keep an eye open for any strange behavior like showers when he comes home from being out w/ them. Make sure that he is not doing any one on one meetings alone b/c it can get him in trouble if he has done anything or not. Where I work we can't give razes for a job well done but they let us do nice things for those that work hard (at our own expense) Little story there was this boy last yr that was from Bulgaria and my hubby JUST knew I was having an affair b/c I would take him places that he needed to go. But I brought it to his attention that I did it for the Girls too if they needed it. To this day he and another of the boy foreign exchange students still call me and talk.nothing ever happened and it never will. not saying that it couldn't of happened it just never did. I wouldn't allow it. Hopefully he is the same way.

Your husband has serious ISSUES. No 26 yr old has any business hanging out with children. And a 16 yr old is a CHILD.

Honestly, this can go both ways, he could be a perv, or he could be like a father figure to them. But if you suspect somethiing talk to him about it. Or it could be your insecurities at work, If youre doing YOUR job at home, (not just in the bed), but making him feel younger, maybe he'd be more inclined to spend more time with you. But honestly i think that you should take a look at yourself and then come to a conclusion, It could be nothing.

You know it can be weird but also can be looked into to much. I use to give lesson in golf to teens and always had young girls around me but I never looked at it more than coach and student relationship. Jail time doesn't look all that inviting.

it's kind of weird. it's 10 years difference. depends on the subjects they discuss about. if your husband behaves like a teenager, it's bad... if that 16 years guys have a more mature viewing, it's okay.

but, in general, i think it's okay. it's not such a big deal.

In this situation, I don't think there's anything to worry about. However, if he likes to hang around with them outside of work, that's a little weird.

If it were anything other than work people then I would be concerned. It may be just a team building thing. Or he may be reliving his youth vicariously.
