Why does the ink glow like it does?

There are two types of highlighters florescent yellow and plain yellow. You must have the fluorescent one.

I'm looking at mine right now....I see nothing magical in here other than the words "cap fits in base" so I think that's the reason why it glows!

Because it's a highlighter and they put a little of a neon ingredient in them.

its just the florescent color .......... unless you bought a type that glows in the dark
