I had my debit card in my pocket and of course it fell out in the course of my errands. Same day, went to the two places where I could have lost it. Same day, called my banker (twice). Next day, called my banker twice. Third day and 6 charges + 3 attempted charges later (probably only around $600, amount not relevant), finally called customer service since my banker never called me back. It's my fault for #1 having my card in my pocket and #2 waiting so long for my personal banker to help me out. Why am I so angry about this?

i guess this explains what is wrong with humanity today. everyone is concerned about the money and the banker's inadequacy instead of a human being's emotions and feelings.

Wow I would be angry too if that happen. Firstly at myself for losing the card and secondly for the inefficiency of the banker. Attempting to charge to another person card is stealing and in this case, I, the victim might have to pay for the charges.

Did you make a police report on the lost card? If you did, you can show it to the bank if they want you to pay the amounts that you did not charge. It would be good also to write to the bank and complain of the inefficiency of your banker. Their inefficiency could cost you lots of money. Might be too late to tell you now but next time, ask for help from other bankers of waiting for your own.
