There's always a chance of becoming pregnant - even while on birth control (and that's when you use it correctly!) If you haven't been using the Ring correctly, you certainly have a chance of being pregnant....

If u took the ring out for your menstrual period then no u cannot get pregnant...If u had sex and took it out in the middle of the month for 3 days then yes u can get pregnant..when using the nuva ring u can take it out and keep it out for no longer than 3 hours and then put it back in to keep u protected,if u keep it out for 3 days in the middle of the month then there is that possiblity...If u are due for your period in no more than 4 days, then i suggest u take a test soon so u can decide whether u can keep using the ring or if u are indeed pregnant and have to dicard it...Good Luck!

It's ALWAYS possible that you could be pregnant if you are sexually active. The Nuva Ring is flawed in that it has to be present to work. I used it and HATED it. And that time that it's out can make it very possible to become pregnant. Especially when it's been 3 hours or more. When in doubt, take the test! Check out this link and scroll down to the Points To Remember section.

With pregnancy, EVERYTHING'S possible. Call your Dr., ob/gyn or a Planned Parenthood and ask them the odds or chances of you being pregnant, if you should be tested (it's probably too soon, even for First Response), or if you should take out this new ring to not cause any unwanted side-effects to a pregnancy.
Remember, even if you had your ring in, it's not 100%.

Any time you have sex there is a chance of getting pregnant...regardless of what kind of birth control you use. Nothing is 100% effective.

Yes, there is a chance. Nothing is 100% (except not doing it of course). Go get a test if you're late.
