if you cant use your vodaphone sim then i think you will have to get it unlocked so that it receives any network providing the phone is tri band or quad band it shouldnt cost you much to get it done about 10 to 15 pounds.I hope that helps. Best of luck!!!!

take it to the market in your home town or a small phone shop (not the huge ones) or buy the unlocking code off the internet (ebay) X

Try unlocking it, but see if it works when you switch SIM cards first.

You can get it unlocked from any phone shop or at a market stall .Thats what i did.

You'll have to take it somewhere to get it unlocked...you'll find the odd town centre shop or market stall would usually do it...
