pet manufacturers?

how can I get a pet manufacturer to help me get an idea for a new product on the market? I know my idea is a great one and I know this item is not out there yet...but I do not know who to contact...

You need to get it patented first I believe. If you don't the idea can be stolen.

you need to get a patent on it first, they cant steal your idea
