first i live in Indiana
second i didnt deserve it, i punched the gas to avoid an accident. regardless you cant win against a cop and flipping him the bird and cursing at him was well worth the $100 ticket.

Look over the ticket to see if there are any errors on it. Also if you call the prosecutor before hand there is a good chance of getting the amount dropped (50 over down to 15 over) Worth a shot.

Well lets see you will still have to pay the ticket unless you apeal the ticket and set a court date to have it drop. Then you worry about if the cop will shop up but regardless you still have the district attorney to mess with. Just be thank ful you just have a ticket instead of an accident from speeding. You could also take defensive driving if you dont have a cdl and if you havent taken it this year.

If the cop went through the trouble of writing the ticket then it is a pretty good bet that he/she will show up in court. Cops that don't like court write warnings.

My brother used to be a cop. He LOVED going to court. He got OVERTIME for it.

Pay up and forget it. You DESERVED the ticket.

P.S. Trying to avoid an accident by speeding is B.S.. The judge will tell you to use your brakes next time. You need to accept responsibility for your actions and stop acting like a child.

Where do you live. I know California has solved this problem with scheduling a day for cops to do nothing but show up for court appearances. So you are pretty screwed if its here in Cali.

If you sped up to avoid an accident use that in your defense. Be able to explain your actions.
