Hi, im 17 years old, i was born in Germany(i have an EU passport), but my parents got divorced so we flew to the Philippines where my mom originally lives and thats where i grew up to and had most of my education. so now my mom got married again and we are now living in England since Dec 24,2006. I already finished highschool in the Philippines and now Im suppose to start College. Problem is that I asked the colleges around here and they all said I have to pay 'overseas fee' since I have not lived in the UK or around EU for the past 3 years. I also asked UKCOSA about and they said that its true and thats the case regardless of whatever EU passport I have. Overseas fees cost about 4800 pounds and we cant afford it. I also asked UKCOSA for any financial support available for my case but they said they dont offer financial support for 'overseas students' like me. Are there any other options available for me? Any other form of education? What do you think I should do? Please help me!!

College is what Im really aiming for. I wouldnt want to stop at just highschool. This may sound cheesy but I really do believe in the power of education. But since we cant afford to pay the overseas fee whats do u think I should do? Are there any other options available? Do you think it would be better for me to wait for 3 years to get the 'home fee'?, should I just take vocational courses instead? Should I go to school part time to lessen the cost? Or should I just fly to the Philippines and finish my studies there? Sorry guys, im not asking you to choose from the ones ive mentioned, your free to type in whatever advice you may have. =)

What about working part-time and take some online classes at the same time? Or maybe just go to a vocational school. You did not say what you wanted to major in, so it makes answering this question kind of tricky. I would not just stop your education for three years because then you get out of the habit and routine and may decide not to go at all....

no longer something is obligating you to purchase a present day from the registry. The registry is in straightforward terms a tenet (besides the reality that that's quite ballsy of the couple to easily incorporate costly presents ... are you particular they don't have a 2d, greater quite value registry at yet another shop?). in case you want to attend the bathe, then purchase a present day on your needed funds. seem around in the shop the place she registered, or bypass to a branch shop and discover something on your funds. "conventional" presents incorporate independent towels, bedsheets, cleansing components, uncomplicated cooking utensils, dish towels. Is there a enjoyed ones merchandise which you in my view love? ("i understand you probably did no longer sign in for this, yet I even have one and that i exploit it daily so i presumed you're able to like it on your individual homestead.") Or supply her a present day card to the registry shop on your needed funds, or a present day card to a close by eating place or to a save the place you recognize she shops (Macy's, objective, food market, etc.). or you ought to place together an excellent basket with issues she likes - wine or coffee or superb candies. in case you want to attend the marriage, then supply a present day or a verify on your funds. you're no longer obligated to "disguise your plate" or supply a undeniable quantity, whether that's a great-fancy wedding ceremony. in case you're able to quite no longer attend the two experience, verify off No on the RSVP card and incorporate a word wishing them nicely. you do no longer might desire to sense responsible. an invite isn't a subpoena, and no-one is conserving a gun on your head to purchase a particular present or maybe to attend. Do what you like and do it with type. If this individual is any style of pal, she would be grateful on your presence, and for any present you p.c. to grant her. If she expects something greater from you, then she's no longer a real pal and you're able to no longer sense undesirable approximately "disappointing" her. If she acted snotty on the bathe over no longer receiving a $350+ present, then i could with politeness decline her wedding ceremony and not communicate together with her anymore.
