Is there any one out there that would be interested in talking with me via internet about questions in ref. to opening an auto repair shop? I need advice. Pricing being the biggest issue. Parts markups, tire repair pricing, oil change pricing etc. If you would be interested in talking please give me your email address. Thanks Julie

Pricing smchicing. Notice that there is competition out there and they already got the pricing set...on oil changes, tires and parts. You gotta find cheaper sources for the same parts to give yourself an advantage. There is no loyalty. You price too high, people will go to WAL-MARt.
The question is: can you live with that amount of profit or how many cars do you need to do a day to be comfortable.
What can you offer that is different.(& really doesn't really cost you much) but will draw the customers your way 'cause of the different service that you can charge extra for.
You need a "hook" to get them in there otherwise you are no different than the next shop.
