It was an ADVERTISEMENT for a MOVIE! NOTHING MORE! ATHF is one of the funniest cartoons ever made, and if they cancel the film because of these supposed "terrorist" threats, I would cry. I would say that I would start a revolution, but that would mean that I'M a terrorist, and to Gitmo I would go... CARL BRUTANANADILEWSKI RULES!

Seriously. What Boston didn't tell you was those LCD screens were also placed in 9 other US cities, including Chicago (where I live) and no one paid them no mind. WHY would you even think that was a bomb?? It's really sad that our country has come to this.. that people freak out because an "outside the box" advertisement!
How was it poor taste?? it's not like the put a fake bomb out there.... it was a screen with a cartoon character.. And again, no other city shut down. If a shopper forgets their shopping bag, and people freak out and call the bomb squad-- should that person be persecuted because people shut down the city?? Of course not- that would be crazy...

It was an INAPPROPRIATE advertising method. It virtually shut down a whole city.

Admittedly, there's probably some over-reaction involved...But it was in EXTREMELY poor taste!

And, I'm entirely positive that this is exactly the response they were looking for, btw. It wasn't done with the intention of getting no media coverage!

Boston over reacted and I agree no one should face any legal problems. Great show and the movie should be entertaining.
