It was AIRCRAFT that killed thousands in the World Trade Center and Pentagon! 6 years and he still allows aircraft! Is anyone else as confused as I am as to why the Bush regime has not banned all aircraft!? Novembers vote told Bush we don't want aircraft and he is blatently ignorant of the facts! How do fellow progressives feel about this situation?

Airplanes don't kill people? WTF are you talking about? Were you just born yesterday or have you already forgotten 9/11??! Not only do they kill people, they pollute the environment and cause global warming. It's obvious the only reason Bush keep them flying it because of Big Oil.

Do you not understand what banning all aircraft would do to our economy? It would be sort of like the earthquake in the middle of the ocean and causing a tsunami 800 miles away. No more aircraft = no more quick transportation = no more business flights = domino effect into the business world... There are SO many ways this would disrupt our lives that it would be impossible. Think of the changes they've already made... they are very disruptive. Just imaging shutting down every airport for good. It's just asinine to not realize this, and I didn't even go to college.

Airplanes don't kill people; people kill people.

edit: I thought you were sarcastic, but it seems you actually mean what you write. You are obviously not that smart, so I'll rephrase. Airplanes don't kill people; people hijacking airplanes and flying them into office towers kill people.

And since you're so deadset against airplanes, I suggest you never fly. Next time you want to take a holiday, drive. Sit in traffic and pollute even more than the airplanes do. If you want to holiday on a different continent, swim there, because ships pollute the water more than airplanes pollute the air.

Your right you are confused! Lets bankrupt all the airline companies, cause thousands & thousands of pople to be without a job, let the unemployment rate skyrocket along with the welfare rate - cause the country to go into the complete recession! It's called increased secruity! Has there been any other plans hitting buildings (?), no so I guess President Bush is doing his job!!

he must have put them in the same category as OBL as he has not yet been brought to justice.

If Aircraft were listed in the Constitution, he would he would have outlawed them by now.
