Certain websites have versions that can be accessed EASILY from a cell phone/pda web browser. One such example is www.mapquest.com/pda - it is essentially mapquest but a version that requires much less data transfer to save costs (it is expensive to browse from a telephone.) Do you know any other such sites?

Yahoo has done this for quite some time. They are in the process of developing a set of websites exclusively for mobile users.

Microsoft's website has a list of dozens of "mobile friendly" sites that may be of interest to you. The link for the site is:

One website you will want to check out is pdaportal.com. The owner of the site has created a list of over 700 "mobile friendly" sites that you can search by category.

Google has a mobile site. They have maps and everything that's on their regular site.
