i have nail indentations since i was little. they run in my family. recently i was told i have proriasis of skin and nails. is there anything i can do to lessen these indentations other than buffing them. i dont like the feel of buffing. i feel it leaves them more weak. also i hate polishes because i feel they have so many chemicals that are toxic. has anyone tried a medicine on their nail that worked or made their nails stronger? i take a calcium pill which doesnt seem to work.

Gelatin is what you need. It is protein, like many foods, but for some reason is exactly the sort of protein that nails want.
