Personally, I dont like her. I would be okay if she just expressed her views. But I cant stand the way she puts the military down, the same people serving to protect her freedom of speech. Im just curious, being a military wife, how others feel about her attitude. Maybe someone could explain it in a way that makes sense.

Jane Fonda is a traitor. And no, John McCain didn't give information to the enemy. He was a good soldier.

Political discourse is the foundation of democracy. Without it, we might as well live under a dictator. But there are limits. Jane Fonda exposed the Vietnam War for what it was and not gracefully. Consequently, nobody wanted to hear it. Much of America was gushing with misguided patriotism and could not fathom that this war was insane. Although Ms. Fonda stepped over some lines and outraged many Americans, in the end her bitter-sweet protest opened a lot of eyes.

I hate her, When are Brothers were dieing in Vietnam fighting for a cause that no one believed in,but we supported are brothers in war..She was busy having drinks and singing for the North..The enemies..I wish some one would kick her in the teeth..She is not American..I don't support every thing are government does..But I will always support are troops..Why, because they are us..brothers, Sisters, Fathers and Mothers...We Love are Troops and she loved the enemy...

Hanoi Jane should be baned from the best country in the World.
God Bless the USA

actually i am ambivalent towards her. never thought she was as great an actress as the critics did, but i'm quite a bit younger than her, so i wasn't around when her films were big box office.

i really don't understand the hatred toward her for remarks she made about the Vietnam war back when she was 20 - weren't we all idiots at that age? and, you got it, she like all of us here in America, has freedom of speech, so... to each their own. If i got all wound up every time i saw something repeated in the media that i didn't agree with, i would have had a stroke and died a long time ago. i mean, has she said something recently? she's really not in the media that often any more - last time i saw her she was getting divorced from Ted Turner, after that, not so much.

Jane Fonda is an enemy of the United states.
During the Vietnam war she actually protested against the US on foreign soil. In one instance an American prisoner handed her a note detailing the daily beatings by the Vietcong, which she then HANDED to the Vietcong. The soldier was then almost beaten to death by his captors.

Jane Fonda is a brainless member of the Hollywood Left. She truly hates her own country.

In other words, I'm not so Fonda Fonda.

Jane Fonda is no friend of the US soldier that has ensured and protected her personal freedom(s) and her livelihood. Her views are Anti-American and unrealistic at best. She will be remembered as a traitor and a friend of our enemies.

I agree with you. I have no problem with her as long as she does not use her acting career as a stage to spout off her anti-American venom. I really think she has resurfaced after all these years to stir up a little publicity for herself. The last time we saw her in the news it was with Ted Turner. Hey by the way , I sure appreciate what your husband is doing for our country. Thanks for the sacrifice!!!!

You're right, people in this country are entitled to their opinions, but I think very little of her or her views and I think it was HIGHLY inappropriate to do what she did in Vietnam was a terrible disrespect to the troops. That makes me sick to think she did that.
