The best natural remedy for gout would be to change ones diet and exercising. Cutting down or abstain from eating red meat is one natural remedy for gout that is chosen by a lot of people. Gout is caused by the excessive production of uric acid in the body when one consumes meat and other foods that have a high purine level. For people with gout, it is best to eat foods that are higher in carbohydrates and anti-inflammatory properties. Natural remedies for gout can consist of eating more vegetables and fruits that have low purine levels, drinking more water during the day, and keeping the blood circulating and the metabolism up by exercising regularly.
Other forms of natural remedies for gout can also include taking herbs that have anti-inflammatory properties such as ginseng, and soy. These herbs have the wonder properties of helping a person digest their food easily and keeping them calm and organize during the day. The uric levels in our body can also be raised by stress. A natural remedy for gout can only help to reduce the number and the extent of pain of gout attacks but not cures the gout completely. It is important to maintain a healthy and well-balanced diet to ensure a person has enough energy during the day to complete all the tasks that they have to complete. Exercising regularly and eating a healthy diet are actually the best ways to get rid of pollutants and other materials in the body that can cause gout and bring about other health related problems.

cut rich foods down or out of his diet-gravies, mushrooms, salt, coffee, soda, beer, meat,
Best things for gout:
Cherry Juice or 1/2 pound of fresh or canned unsweetened cherries. Natural cherry juice works the best, you can purchase this from your local health food store. Make sure it is the natural, unsweetened brand and if it is the concentrate variety follow the directions with proper amounts of water to dilute the juice.
The darker the better. Any dark red, blue berries will prevent and reduce inflammation of the joints and will aid with circulation which is necessary to help the uric acid crystals that builds up in the synovial joints. If cherry juice is not your flavor, try Blueberry juice - it will work the same way. Hawhtorne berry is very bitter but will increase circulation as well as aid in inflammation.
You may also want to consider a daily supplement of 400-800 iu of Vitamin E and 125-250mg of Quercetin with Bromelain, 3 (three) times a day between meals to ease the pain and help with further gout flare ups.

I do not know of a natural 'cure' for gout, but eating cherries, especially dried cherries, are helpful to people with gout. If you eat about 2 servings worth a day it may lessen your symptoms.

there is not a natural "cure" for gout. There are medications that can help with the symptoms but nothing will get rid of it completely. You will always have it. If you aren't treated properly, it will eventually start to eat away at your bones and joints... i've seen it happen... You can help your symptoms by not drinking a lot of alcohol and following a strict diet that your physician can give you more information on.

Xango juice is a natural, powerfull anti-inflammatory.
Gout and pseudo-gout are types of arthritis caused by the formation of insoluable crystals in the synovial fluid of joints.Modifying of diet, in which the intake of certain types of amimal protein is reduced in order to decrease the production of uric acid, can lower the risk of gout. Additionally, some medications such as hydrochlorathiazide (a water pill) can also increase the blood levels of uric acid and precipitate gout attacks. Insoluable uric acid crystals form in joints when blood levels of the substance reach excessively high levels. Inflammation, with its redness, swelling, and pain, is often severe. Daily consumption of mangosteen can reduce recurrent attacks.

The key here is that there is no cure for gout. It is an error in metabolism of purines. There is only control by diet, and meds. Perhaps by not eating certain meats, alcoholic beverages, organ meats that sort of thing you can control it.
