Ok anthony,
I am a happily married wife, and mom of 8 kids, ages from 23 to 3 years old. I love my life, but sometimes I feel like a maid, because I do everything for the family, laundry, dishes, make meals, drive them to school, vacuuming... My hubby is going back to school because of career changes due to layoffs and such and he is nearly 50, so life will get better, he is going in to a medical field which is more secure. I can see the light at the end of the tunnnel. We no longer want to be rich, just secure... Thanks for letting me vent.

Sometimes I find myself wanting more out of life than I have. It does make me feel ungrateful to feel this way. I have a happy home, great kids and a loving partner....

I am so far from home that I do get depressed. I have dreams of returning as soon as my other half is free to come with me. Leaving him behind is really not something I wish to do. In general though, life is good. No matter how I feel or how much I get down, I know there is always other's out there alot worse off and in remembering this, it helps keep my feet firmly planted on the ground.

Sounds really good to me.

The one thing that I was told by my family still rings true with me:

"You can't wish for a relationship another person has with their significant other. You have to do what you can with yours."

Granted, there may be another person's home situation you wish that you could mirror your life. But the truth is, you are you, and not them. You are doing good for yourself, as well as your girl and family. You could've wound up in a bad way, and possibly couldn't be able to ask this question. You should be VERY thankful for the life you're living. I applaude you on your success, and wish you much much, more in your bright future.

I love my life, although it is a bit confused and hectic right now. My boyfriend is the light at the end of the proverbial darkness for me ALWAYS, and especially through this dissolution of a friendship i am going through, I need him/support more than ever. My family is my greatest support ever as well. I love them so much. My motto in life right now is ****'EM if they are gonna be an ******** because why should i jeopardize all the fun i could be having in my life, for that one moment where they want to bring me down?

I think you need to find a good Psycology school. Your curiosity for people's thoughts will drive you to do well. Also, find yourself a minister and begin asking questions. I've actually heard that there is a Son of God who offers understanding and life after death.

before now: loved it! everything was going great for me.

right now: life sucks for me. my parents might be splitting up, my best guy friend doesn't talk to me the way that he used to and the guy that i like barely notices me anymore. also, my grades a slipping and i'm pretty sure that all of my "friends" talk about me behind my back. oh yeah! did i mention that i lost my fave aunt, my grandma and gradpa within 5 months of each other?

later: i think it will get worse before it gets better. gotta look on the bright side... even if they bright side has been dimmed by pain, seperation, rejection, being ignored by the person that you thought would always be there for you, faliure and death.

YES to the first answer....more time to enjoy it. I'm pretty happy...but I get impatient with people when I drive.....slow drivers really slow below the speed limit TICK me off. Or when they slow down at the green light waiting for it to turn red! Sorry....I know there are much worse things.
