I was a big fan of that show. I read a few articles where people thought it was way too violent. It didn't seem any more or less violent than some of the shows on then or now. Plus, there was a moral to most of the shows. They emphasized helpng kids with their Kick Drugs off the Street (?) marshal arts program and helping the homeless and needy with Alex's center that she set up. They had episodes on many topics such as racial discrimination (the one with skin heads targeting that church), the IRA, rape, corporate greed, etc. I enjoyed the episodes concerning Native Americas.

I remember watching it. They put it on at 2am and I was always half asleep trying to watch it. It was really horrible. But so horrible that you can't help but laugh at it's awfulness. There was a bit of action in it from memory but also a lot of dialogue.

I enjoyed it very much. I too don't think it was as violent as many shows that are on now.
