My husband and I are curious to know if when we have sex will he be able to feel it up there. Also there is a string atached to it to pull it out when needed, during foreplay can the string be seen or touched and if so can it be it be pulled out?

No no no and no. I had one for a few months and my husband says he never felt it. Be sure you check for the strings every now and then though, mine fell out somehow. My doctors were stunned, said that had never happened to one of their patients before, but it is possible.

My husband cannot feel my mirena. If the strings are left too long they may possibly poke, but your doctor can trim them to where they don't. The strings that are attached are not to pull it out during times when it is not needed. You will need to return to your doctor if/when you are ready to have it removed.
