A dream means:
D-dramatic r-realastic e-eventual a-awesome m-mind state.
Philosophically,
A dream takes us to world of imagination where eveything happens as we think. Thus it simply signifies that you can make your life in the way you want with your will. You can make it as beautiful as a dream is.But sometimes we see a horrible dream. This shows that life also has thorns if it has roses.
So see beautiful dreams and make your life beautiful.
Scientifically,
It signifies that whether you sleep or not your mind never sleeps. It is always engaged in thinking something.

It can mean anything from that you are under stress to bad mexican food you had the day before.....often dreams are metaphor's for life and are express during this brain activity. Ex. ,When my mother was sick and i was worried about her, I had dreams of being in the hospital and an old nurse was taking care of me. I believe being in the hospital was from feelings i had that there was nothing i could do and actually the old nurse was a representation of my mother and the fear of losing her translated to I was losing the person who loved me and took care of me when i was young. There is no way to know if this is accurate, but it made the most sense to me at the time.

that you're sleeping.
Just kidding, it could signify a lot of things. remember your dreams, and try and think what happened in real life that is sort of like that. I find that things that happen to me, even mundane things, are brought back to me in dreams in a sort of quasi way.

you usually dream about what your subconciuosly thinking about. like you might not even know your thinking about it b/c that part of the thought process is deeper in the brain and it is said to be "thinking in the back of your mind" but yea it is what your mind is subconciously thinking about.
