it when when people in your office talk back and forth over the cubicles when you are trying to concentrate on your work and get things done? Is that annoying or what?

Yes, sir. Also, I have a co-worker who is constantly on his blue tooth. It drives me insane.

Incredibly annoying. So many office behaviors are annoying as well, such as:
Not shutting the door while on a conference call
Talking so loudly that everyone else can hear what you're saying clearly
Stupid cake parties for every single birthday/some other milestone
Cocky middle-management supervisors who should not be in a position to manage anyone
Potluck lunches that you feel obligated to participate in
People who are untidy in the break room; especially those who leave their food in the fridge for weeks!
Phew! I feel better now.

If I had a cubicle it would be irritating. I would probably tell them to shut up and go back to work because I can't work with all that gabbing they are doing.

Nah, I don't even notice. I'm always the last in the office to hear the office gossip because when I'm working, I'm in my own little world.

make a great big sign that says SHUT THE F UP, SOME OF US ARE BEING PAID TO ACTUALLY WORK and then hold it up between them when they start yapping,
