That would depend on who you are referring to as a crook!! There are some who seek public office w less than honorable intentions, but they are a small minority.

Most candidates for elected office have good intentions to affect change, but some of those ideas aren't realistic either fiscally or due to lack of majority support. They have made campaign promises that just aren't reasonable to expect immediate resolution of the issue.

Not sure how this would warrant a label of "crook" tho.....they may have misled or even lied based upon what they could really do, but they aren't stealing money or ...?

Sadly the big promises have become the norm, as candidates who make only sustainable commitments are not elected......people want to hear BIG TALK, they seem to support it at the polls!!

I hope not, This years candidates are shaping up to be a good run for the democrats. I support Barrack Obama. He is the best chance for the US to rebound from the mistakes caused by Mr. Bush the second worst president of all time

I certainly am.. I dread every election. I know that no matter what the candidates say.. it will be a lie.. All they do is put down all the other candidates and swear to do this and that....once elected they do NOTHING..
