ZUNE hands down. I haven't heard of one person who has not had a problem with their iPod. As a matter of fact, I'm trying to recuperate all my lost songs, and get them into iTunes. My iPod has brought me much suffering, frustration, and pain- but the music is my life. A Zune is just as capable of anything as an iPod. Trust me, from personal experience, go for the Zune.

Hmm I've said this many times but the the iPod is over-priced and will break, search forums and see how many people are doing their nut over their iPod either breaking, freezing all the time and scratching badly. That said I wouldn't buy a Zune either, personally I'd go for an Archos, better built and more functionality, but people tend to buy iPods because other people have them - yes they might look cool, but that dont count for dick if it breaks or fails to perform properly.

depends on your preference..since they cost about the same...My son has a Zune and likes it...the software won't run on anything less than XP SP2 though...the setup and transfer of music is easy with it...haven't really tried video yet
