I know that in most county jails like where I was you weren't allowed to smoke. Is it different in prisons. Think it would make inmates less stressed if they allowed us to smoke say if you didn't cause any trouble or break any rules.

I believe Florida, Texas, and Virginia, still use the electric chair for capitol punishment. Is that smokey enough for ya!?

In my state NO you cant smoke in detention center. They dont have any deignated smoking factors. I'm not certain about the federal prisons. I know that all prisons do not have smoking inside; but it used to be allowed outside.

In Michigan they can smoke outside when they have yard time. But only then, but then it is prison and they are criminals so i am sure they don't care about the rules.
