Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Miss America so on and so forth. I don't get it they are people like everyone else and they go out get wasted make out with who ever and it's all over the news. ( Like no one in the world does this)

Seriously a Rehab watch for Miss America, So the F what she gets drunk and makes out with women, I can't coun't how many women have done that.

The reason for this is because America is so obsessed with negitivity..Usually this is debtable on wether or not the celeberity does wild things on purpose (aka as a publicty stunt which is used in the feild of Public Relations)
For example, If Lindsay Lohan goes out in town for the night to party, she may be doing things to get the paparazzi's attention so that the next day she will be in the tabloids. Nobody wants to read good things they all want the juicy dirty gossip.
By doing things that create a scence, may be just an emabressment for a normal person, but for a celeberity it gets everyones attention, in which this makes them more popular and as a result they make more money!
The media today is crazy!

Because people care way too much about celebrities. Its a shame how many more people care about what purse paris hilton has rather than who won the nobel peace prize. I could care less about celebrities just like I could of cared less about the A crowd in high school.

The issue with Miss America is that she's supposed to be a wholesome good role model for little girls all over the world.
Although, I personally don't consider anyone who gains fame from a beauty pageant to be a good role model for MY daughters.
People need to realize it's not 1950 anymore.

Because people in the media and whatnot have nothing better to write about, and because everyone in America pays attention to it. Not even thinking about the fact that they do it all the time too.

It's not because they're white and famous, it's simply because they are famous. Every famous person gets their share of being in the public eye. Yeah, everyone does go out and get wasted but everyone isn't famous - i guess it's more interesting when you are famous.

people like to point the finger at others to make themselves feel better.
they act like celebs aren't real people...like they are super humans and they can't live their life like everyone else. it's crazy huh?
but...i'm not sure why the emhasis on "white people"...the same goes for other races when they are in the lime light

They are public figures, that's why they get so much attention. They asked for the fame and recognition.....now they should be prepared to deal with it.
Other people aren't famous. That's why they don't get noticed. Duh.
