I am 5-6 weeks pregnant and I get stressed really easy. The first trimester is the most important time for the baby. I dont want to get stressed and have a miscarrage. Do you have any tips?

do some relaxation breathing and watch some romantic comedies....take walks when the weather is good and do some imformative reading.
Don't worry, things will work out. And no matter what all the worry in the world won't make a difference. Turn that switch off and try to remember that this is totally natural and that good doctors are taking care of everything.....and as our doctor told us the day of our delivery......don't worry, you're having that baby today and we'll take good care of you both:)))

First of all congratulations!
Ok you should remove yourself from the stressor, get up and walk away, excuse yourself, if it is a person. Go for a little walk for about 10 minutes or so. The exercise is really good for both you and the baby!
Try some yoga to destress after work. This will also help with flexability and loosen some muscles in time for childbirth!
If these types of avtivities bother or frustrate you then you should steer clear of these.
Find an activity that you enjoy doing. Maybe take up something like crocheting or knitting. Most importantly have fun with whatever you decide to try!
Good Luck!

I'm about the same (5-6 weeks). I find exercising helps a lot! I just walk around the track at the gym (sometimes pretty slowly) but the moving around helps. It also seems to help with my morning sickness--I feel better the mornings after I exercise (less nausea)

don't be afraid to ask for help with work/chores. you're right about this time being crucial for a baby's development. you should take a warm bubble bath, schedule a prenatal massage at a good spa, begin your baby's scrapbook and baby calendar, take walks in good shoes when the weather is nice, hang out with good friends and your family, go see a movie, indulge in some of your favorite ice cream. just some ideas!

Take walks, a nice bath just breath there is not much you can do to prevent a miscarrigae it is just one of those things that happens, so just take it day by day, and make sure you do something for yourself everyday because before you knwo it you will not be able to since eveything you do is for the baby. Good Luck and Wishes.

This is my personal recommendation as a mother of 3, with twins on the way. If it's not uncomfortable, try having sex on a regular basis. When you have sex you release endorphins as well as other "feel-good" hormones which are amazing stress relievers. (For you AND your partner!)
Also, other techniques to try is deep breathing exercises, aromatherapy, social stimulation with friends and pregnancy message.
Congrats on your pregnancy!

Yoga works great. All you need is 5 minutes.

All of your trimesters are very important to the development of your child.

Congratulations

exercise or pregnancy yoga really helped me, well best it could. Reading a book in a warm bath (not hot) helped a lot too. They sell a pregnancy yoga DVD at almost all stores, i really recommend it , it has a lot of stress relieving techniques in it

Try to do all the things that help you relax...a nice warm bath, naps if you can, nice warm blankets with good books, good movies, drink milk, that helps, (skim or lowfat is fine),,,,if you are lucky enough to be able to pamper yourself, have your feet rubbed and so on........
try not to stress aobut being pregnant, women have been doing it for years and it all turns out okay...!!!!...
