What defines high maintenance and are you?

i thought high maintenance means you do a lot of up-keep on yourself - you get a manicure/pedicure and waxing done regularly, you go tanning you wear a full set of make-up and style your hair every single day, even if you're just running to the grocery store. you wear outfits that are well put together and well accessorized. also, you require lot of up-keep from your man, he has to take you shopping, keep you entertained, feed you, spoil you, romance you, etc.... you are exhausting! lol

I consider myself moderately high maintenance. i can and have done all of these things but never all at the same time or consistently. i can still run to the grocery store or go to class without makeup on. and my man does not spoil me whatsoever.

High Maintenance means that you are soo attention seeking and all you want is attention attention . And say if your sick your like GET ME THIS and GET ME THAT ..

I understood it meant lots of medical lots of time spent at the gym.And makeup layed on with a trail. I am 50. that mean I am high maintenance.
