Buy a new one and sell the old one. Ever if your laptop is not working, it still worth some money. Someone may buy it, fix it and sell it. Someone may recycles all the parts still valuable (CPU, battery, memory, keyboard, adaptor.CD-ROM, hard drive etc
You may also sell the bids by yourself (if you are familiar), or as a whole to save effort (state clearly what the status of the m/c is, otherwise you may get a lot of troubles) through an on-line auction site like e-bay.
May be it is not so bad to buy the new one (or another old but working one) after the subsidies from the old one
good luck.

buy a new laptop. Replacing the screen will cost enough that it would make more sense just to replace the whole thing.
