I don't have a lot of money to spend but still want their night to be very special. A surprise party isn't possible. Their anniversary is on Valentines day so I don't have much time! Help!

How about you cooking a romatic dinner for them (at their house) and renting a movie (for the two of them to watch)

Dear You,
If you do not have enough money to take them out on a fancy dinner or anything like that, then make them something that they will enjoy for the rest of there lives. If it comes from the heart, then they will appreciate the effort made by you. (At least they better!) Suggestions: Dreamcatcher or mandela, a nice homemade card with gift certificates for a hug or a walk in the park with that someone special, or do a kareoke song for thier anniversary(Make it one they like and sing it to them.) I hope that helps you out. Happy Anniversary!!! Dave Hicks 100 Mile House,B.C.

If you can get some pictures together, from family, friends, special occasions that relate to your parents, you could make one of those calenders where you can add a personal picture for each month. February is not tooooo late for a calendar. I had just made one for my mom's b-day; I had bought one a Pier1, where you insert the pictures, but a friend of mine had made one X-mas (I believe it was at Walmart) where the pics where actually printed on, and she could highlight certain special days on the year with little comments. The one I sent to my Mom, e.g., I put a pic of my daughter in July (her b-day), my brother and I together in April (we are both born in April), the kids in the pool in August, etc...

Give them a night out just for the the two of them. Call a hotel near you . Many hotels run specials for just such occasions. Good Luck.

I put together a photo album with little captions of family and friends and special memories for my parents. I started it with a pic from their wedding day of them together. But really something you make them they can look back at years from now would be my suggestion. I nice diner out is great but something you make from scratch with love and thought is always incredible
