I must confess, I use my morning sickness as an excuse to get out sex with my husband, I really have been sick. I feel so guilty. All I want to do is go to bed. When we were ttc I gave it to him everyday and now we haven't had sex in a week and I still don't want too. Any suggestion on how to make my husband know I do still desire him, I guess I can answer that myself, i might as well give it up....But dang I just don't want too. Anyone else in my shoes, let me know what you did?

oh my god ME TOO! I have absolutely NO desire at all. We sat down and had a long talk about it and he understands. he doesn't like it, but he gets it :) so instead of sex we just cuddle alot. I have been assured by many many people that the sex drive will return in the second trimester. Your husband loves you and he will understand.

I have to agree it really is the last thing I want to do recently. I'm 22 wks and when I come home in the evening I'm just soo tired. If I did have any desires to be with my husband they seem to quickly leave me as I'd much rather to go to bed early. I think he understands and hasn't tried to pressure me too much as just a couple weeks ago it was him shying away as I wanted him all the time. If I'm really not in the mood and he is desperate I do personal favors but I make sure he doesn't come to expect them as I know I won't always feel like that either, but it at least takes the pressure off of me for a while and I can get it over and done with much sooner...LOL..

Good luck

I was like that until I finally reached my 5th month. I heard that the 4th is when your libido returns, but I guess I was a bit delayed. It's completely normal, especially since your body has tons of hormonal changes leading to nausea and a decreased sex drive. My fiancee and I have been intimate for over 5 years and while we both do enjoy sex very much, I've confided in him that I don't often feel like doing it as much. Sometimes it's led to pain and discomfort, so he readily agreed to go without. Just have a frank chat with your husband. He should understand and realize that this phase is just TEMPORARY. Besides, there are lots of other ways to be intimate....good luck!

HAHA!!! I haven't had sex with my husband in over a month! I physically can't. I'm 39 weeks and it just hurts. Luckily, my husband is SO understanding...however, you could help him out in others ways if you know what I mean. Now that I am due soon, I have been trying to have sex with him and he WON'T! go figure...he fears "poking" the baby in the head...how funny is that? :)

I am in your shoes. I don't feel sexual at all, and my husband lets me know just how bad he hates it too. Because normally I am very sexual, so now he thinks I'm sleeping around on him. But, I'm not going to have sex unless I want to, because I just don't feel good and I'm always tired, it's best to just wait until you feel like it again, your husband will eventually understand.

OMG! I am having the same problem. My husband doesn't understand and he hates it. He really makes me feel bad, but like I told him... On one hand I can have sex with you.... or on the other I can sleep. What do you think is more important at this point?
