We've known each other for about 3 months and this is our first date, we had a blast. She is my first date since my separtation a year ago, my divorce is on the final stages and she is willing to stick around as friends until this ordeal is over.

Don't wait and don't play games. This is not high-school, and if you are both mature, just relax and let things flow, do not over call, but it's OK to call the next day and say "Thank you for your company, I had a great time" kind of thing. My fiance use to always do this after a date, call or e-mail the next day to thank and compliment me. I fell head over heels for him.

Whenever you feel like calling her then call her... My husband called me that night of our first date to tell me he made it home safe.... He drove an hour to meet me:) The rest is history lol! I have to say you are wise to remain friends until the divorce is final bud:)

well you seem like grown ups i dont see why not call her within 24 hours from the end of the date and tell her what a good time you had, and thank her for going with you and on and on but dont sound desperate either****

Send her an e-mail, or just tell her that you want to see her again! Sounds like you are ready for a new relationship...just take it slowly as most people will probably tell you. You need time to sort out your feelings and priorities...and any changes in yourself you want to make.

If I were you, I would contact her fairly soon after the date (within 24 hrs). The sooner you make contact, the more it shows that you have enjoyed yourself. She will appreciate that.
