There's no denying destiny. Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning have walked a long road with a lot of heartache to get to this point. It will take more than the Bears to get them to walk down "Heartache Road" again.
Colts 30 Bears 16
The Colts simply have to much fire power for the Bears to contain and match point for point in 4 quarters of play.

Not everyone agrees on that for starters. Second the Colts are in no way better than the Bears. People have that biased view from what they have been told about teams when it comes to AFC and NFC. It is true that the AFC has dominated IN GENERAL in the past ten to fifteen years, but when you have a match-up like this there is no way to call a winner based on such biased views. The colts have an older and wiser and definitely more confident quarterback but their defense is no match for that of the bears, counting injuries as well. If the Bears D' can shut down Manning and his pass-offense early, then it's just a matter of stampeding over a shaky Colts defense into the red-zone for what should be an easy win. Bears 44 Colts 17

Bears would need a great game by Grossman coupled with a sub par game by Manning along with 3 or more turnovers to beat the Colts. I think it will be a close game at half time (Bears ahead 17-14 at half) but by the middle of the 3rd quarter the Colts speed and ball control will wear the Bears down. Final score Colts 40 Bears 17.

I think everybody watches ESPN, and other shows toooooooo much. They also listen to all the bad press on the radio. Most people have not actually watched the Bears play all that much, they just listen to other people. The colts are NOT better. The colts, and bears are tied for the number of offensive points scored this year. I do think Payton is better than Grossman. The quarterback is not who wins the games, the team is. Grossman is young, but great I believe. I think that with people bad mouthing the bears alllllllllllllllllll year is to their advantage! The bears have better special teams, and a better defense! I think it is great that the Bears are the underdog once again.

No, everyone doesn't agree that the Colts will win and that they are that much better than Da Bears. Just cross the Illinois state line and ask anyone there.
However, the Colts probably will win but it'll be a better game than most expect. At least I hope so.

yes.
And the reason why is because of Peyton manning. even though ppl might say defense wins games, you still need an everyday Quarter back. not one that shows up half of the season. Rex grossman is a good quarter back but he isn't consistent and if he cant keep his defense off the field, they will get tired and the colt's offense will have a field day. the X factors in this game is both teams Qb's if they both play well then I'm leaning towards the bears winning, but if Rex plays like he played the Monday night game against Arizona then the colts win. the colts wont make that much mistakes so the bears can't make any mistakes if they want to win.

Colts have a premier offense, There defense is stepping up. The bears rely on no pressure thru that front four and they barely blitz if they dont get pressure on peyton he will dissect them with his wideouts and TE's. I like the pressure that the two ends will get on rex and then their the x-factor of bob sanders and morris who will stop the run. The only question is can Glenn block Oguneleye? I like the colts to win

It's too bad Grossman couldn't pass the salt at the dinner table. A couple hard hits by urlacher on manning and a bit of influence from Daley to the refs ought to get the game to go as it should.
Bears 12 Colts 10 D gets/sets up all points.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the NFL. Welcome to the real world. Football is not played on paper. The Colts may be a more talented team, but talent isnt always enough, chemistry and talent in the right places make for as much towards success as just raw talent. I too think the Colts will win, but not due to talent, or any other factor in common consideration. Winning a championship takes unparalelled determination, and if there is one thing the Colts dont lack, it's determination. Forget the "who's better?" talk, because once they step on the field, it's a whole different ball game. Just ask Tom Brady.
