the 1st theory that got here to my ideas upon analyzing this submit grew to become right into a million. WHY is college training value is u.s. ridiculously costly? WHY do colleges want a lot money? a college isn't a employer like Apple or Microsoft. My sister will graduate from her 4 years of college quickly and the excellent coast of training pee paid for the period of those 4 years....is OMG too a lot. the quantity is very almost as a lot because of the fact the U.S. national debt. 2. do colleges genuinely desire loads of money? 3. u.s. is at the instant dealing with an economic disaster; that's envisioned to be between the worst ever in U.S. historic past. So unemployment is a increasing difficulty, the economic gadget is getting spoiled and there are greater harmless electorate suffering below the poverty line. and that i'm no longer against the government however the federal government would not seem sorting it out nicely. i do no longer understand that a lot touching directly to the ecnonomy, so I discovered from my sister (she's a employer / economics substantial) and that i will tell that the country, the economic gadget etc are all dealing with a disaster. Soo....i do no longer understand yet except the government supplies you to love help the poor pay for faculty or something I strongly advise that faculties do no longer develop training costs. otherwise...u.s. will face an excellent worse educational disaster. Does the stuff I typed make experience? wish it does. And......the stable information is that the costly training value paid to an incredible college grew to become into genuinely worth it on the grounds that my sister have been given an incredible interest 2 weeks till now graduation.

The idea of the tax cut is to stimulate job growth. It worked like gangbusters for Reagan. See, if you have extra money in your pocket, what will you do with it? My bet is that you spend it. Beer, gas, vacation, a movie and pizza for the kids, whatever, it doesn't matter. That money is more profit for wherever you spend it. And odds are, you'll spend it at a small business, meaning you're supporting the capitalist system. Yeah, maybe MegaCorp's name is on the sign in front of the gas station, but I bet the owner of the business is Mom and Pop Smith, not MegaCorp.
Any way, what do Mom and Pop do with the extra money from you and me and 1000 other people? They spend it, too. Maybe they add a car wash, or buy extra stuff to sell, or even build another station to run. That means even more jobs. See how that works? With money, what comes around, goes around.
Are you reading this yet? I'm giving you 50-50 odds that you're not. If you are - e-mail me and let me know if it makes sense - really! I'm curious to know if I'm getting through.
OK, so you don't spend the money - you put it in the bank. Maybe for a rainy day, maybe into Drew O. Jr's college fund, maybe for retirement. Is that money out of circulation?
Nope - the bank lends it out. It goes to help someone build a house, buy a car, or take a vacation. That means builders, car salesmen, and travel agents make some money. And we're back to where we were in the first example - money circulating, making profits for more people, making more jobs.
OK, I'd say there's a 70% chance now that you're gone. Oh, well, maybe not - let me know, OK? Thanks!
So now you're asking, "That's fine, a small guy can do that. What about the fat cat millionaire who gets a million dollar tax break? He's just going to blow it on a yacht or a vacation house, right? How does that help?" So you answer your own question - who builds the yacht, or the vacation home? Probably it's a small businessman. Maybe Mom and Pop's kid, who learned that by hustling in the market and offering a service to someone, they can earn a pretty good living.
"Yeah, but what if the fat cat just puts the money in the bank or the stock market?" Well, we've covered the bank already. You know what happens there. If the cash goes to the stock market, it ends up in companies that - guess what - hire people to make products to sell to Mom and Pop, among others. Oops - there's more jobs again, all because of that tax cut.
I'm 99% sure that you're gone now, but if you're not, send me an e-mail. I'm really, really curious if you read through this.
And guess what happens when more people work? Less people are on welfare, more people pay taxes, and those taxes paid can end up making even more money for the government than what they gave up to the original cut. That's what happened under the Reagan government. Go look it up if you don't believe me.
So what can you learn here?
1) tax cuts can help create jobs.
2) Jobs are good for people.
3) most businesses in this country are the small mom-and-pop variety.
4) Unless you hide all your money under your mattress, you're a capitalist.
Or you gave up reading this a long time ago. If you haven't, take an introductory economics class in high school or college.
And don't forget to e-mail me. But I bet you don't.

1. How do you explain then that tax revenues have increased with the tax cuts? Does this fact undermine your allegation? Yes, it does.
2. Republicans promoyr [sic] bigotry? Such as when Southern Democrats like Senator Al Gore Sr. voted AGAINST giving blacks civil rights?
3. Correction, we support stem cell research - adult, amniotic, placental, blood, etc. - all except for having our tax dollars pay for embryonic stem cell research where a human life is extinguished in science's name. Please note the FACT that Bush is the ONLY president to have funded embryonic stem cell research - on existing lines.
4. Actually, since the 2000 recession (yes, it DID start while Clinton was still in office) and the severe economic impact of 9/11, the economy has been doing very well. Real growth, real income growth, very low unemployment (lower on average than under Clinton) and significant job creation. Do people really consider that to be mest [sic] up?
5. If you're referring to the military, the fact is that not only is the volunteer military majority conservative, it has also been found that the average military enlistee has had higher academic achievement and is from a higher socio-economic class than the average of his peers, and that their racial diversity closely mirrors that of society. The myth of the poor black soldier has been debunked.
6. They did not "steal" the election, nor did they or Israel have anything to do with 9/11. This is lunatic fringe belief.

No.
1. You could always donate your tax cut to charity. You do that, right?
2. I keep hearing this but never see any examples.
3. The Bush administration is the first administration to ever fund stem research. 85 percent of the research done today comes from that money. Clinton didn't. Ah, marijuana. That's your real concern isn't it
4. And yet this is one of the most expanding and growing economies in years. You really should get your facts on this.
5. Promote their own holocaust? What? Are you referring to the military. Could you please list the territory the US has taken.
6. Let it go. It's been proven time and again they didn't.
7. 7 actually comes after 6. Not 4 again.

I am a liberal who almost always votes Democrat.I too have had some serious problems with our nations Conservative to Moderate Conservative leadership. I am most certainly not impressed with the current administration. However, as a liberal I am saddened by your question. This nation has been torn assunder by the politics of divisiveness. So many liberals and conservatives are so involved with hurling hate filled invectives at each other that they cannot possibly be fully focussed on resolving the problems that assail this nation.
We can and must have spirited political debate. However, I fully support doing this through the process of mature political discourse. Only through mature debate will we be able to pull together as a nation and address our problems. Problems such as poverty, lack of health care, the war in Iraq, and the environment will never be improved by half of this nation. We must stand together or we will, in time cease to be able to stand at all.
Not as a liberal, but as a citizen I urge you and all citizens (liberal, conservative, Republican, Democrat or Independant) to make an effort to engage in mature discourse. I urge you to drop the hate filled labels you have used in your question, and make the effort to engage in mature political discourse with those whom you may disagree with.
There is blame enough to go around. The fault for our problems does not rest with any one philosophy or party. The solutions to these problems likewise must come as the result of all of our efforts. Otherwise those solutions will not come.

While I agree that the Conservatives have messed things up I do not think it is proper to equate them to Nazis or Satanic Jihadists. They are people with a different viewpoint than moderates and progressives. They are entitled to their point as you are entitled to yours. The best way to curb the Conservatives is through the ballot box. Join campaigns for their opponents, give to the campaingns of their opponents and encourage all your friends and relatives to do the same. Get on the Internet and join groups like MoveON.org who push the progressive agenda.
