I can pick up a 7600 GT for $100 and I'm not looking at spending much more than that. However, I've heard that the Nvidia 8600' s are coming out soon. I just don't know if I really need to wait on Direct X 10 cards. I mainly play Guild Wars and Company of Heroes. Thanks!

I have a motherboard that supports AGP and PCI Express. So I don't have to worry about switching from AGP to PCI Express.

The nice thing about the 7600GT is low power consumption. (http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/power-noise_5.html)
You won't need to upgrade the power supply and you won't need to spend so much on electricity. I have the weaker 7600GS, with yet lower power consumption, and I can play every game on the market with good gfx settings. Also 100$ is cheap.

OR wait about 6 more months for the 8600 to fall to around 120 euros
i bought a brand new 7600 gt for 220 euros
and after 6 months it was at 150
LOL but still direct x will be replaced by open GL

6600 gt im pretty sure uses AGP. You can not use a PCIe card when you have an AGP bus, strictly AGP.... DX10 cards right now are a waste of money anyways, because it will be another year or so before one is really even needed becase the high end dx9 cards cant deliver this.

I'd wait till they came out with the 8600 GT, then the 7600 GT will be alot cheaper.

For 100$ I guess it's not bad.
But you won't see an amazing performance increase.
DX10 right now = a lot of $$$$$$$
