If you bought a PS3, was it worth the $$$?

I have a Wii and it is definately better than a ps3. The reason being is that a Wii has a much better variety and quality to their games. Nintendo never ceases to created great game after game. Also saving that extra $200 isn't bad either. I use my Wii just for gaming and it has everything I need. The ps3 however has way too many extra features that you'll never use-trust me.

i got a PS3 for christmas also from my wife , and it was everything i expected from the PS line , now if i just had high speed internet access i think it would be even better . and it's true about the limited games for now .... but like the PS1 and PS2 , it will take some time for the newest games to come out .but heres the perk to a PS3 no memory cards needed for PS1,PS2, or PS3, not to mention the expanded harddrive and the great graphics, it was well worth it and i look forward to the next "gen" games for the system. i have all the PS line from the 1 to the present never had an issue with them at all , allthough my x-box has a slight over heating problem , the future of the PS3 is very bright and ... it can only get better .. hope that sheds some light on your question..... :)

Wii. I knew PS3 was going to be a disappointment and it has been for a lot of people. That's why you can find PS3's at every single electronic stores around here but people still line up for the wii everytime they release some. And I still can't find a controller at local stores! The horrible launch titles and the price killed the PS3.

I bought a ps3 and it was a peice of ****. i returned it and got a wii. PS3 is not worth the $$$.

I bought a ps3, it failed me big time, wasn't worth the money so I sold it on eBay and bought a Wii

A Wii, it was worth it. I learned my lesson from the PS2 -- I will only buy the PS3 when the price & hype goes down, and they work all the bugs out.

Wii! My buddy got a ps3 and I should kick him in his face every time I see him. 600 dollars and no rumble feature for the control man you cant catch a break. The first guy to answer just doesn't want to upset his wife. That's why he says "because my wife bought it for me" she was probably hovering over him with a broom when he typed that.

PS3 is way better becouse the wii is having some difficulties.
