I dont know..maybe if your parents HATE each other, you dont have to ask your dad to help, but if it was for reasons, maybe your dad SHOULD help. Maybe bringing both of them to dinner and have the dad as a surprise would be a good present. Invite friends and neighbors and ask them to each help you by giving you something around $5-$10. Then have them help you prepare. Invte the friends over and have the party. Hope this helped bye:D Oh i forgot, if your dad and mom really HATE each other, why dont you just have the party with your friends and neighbors? It'll just still be perfect!!
