Life is not meaningless. One theologian has said that life either has eternal meaning--a meaning that is not created by finite beings--or it has no meaning at all. Any meaning woven by humans has no lasting significance. The meaning generally tends to die with its mortal creator. In contrast, Jesus (the Son of God) imparted eternal meaning to humans. He is the Logos and divinely appointed Messiah. Trust in him, then your life will be meaningful.

The feeling of life being meaningless comes from living in big cities. Big cities are like a human body without the spirit.
If one takes time to watch a beautiful sunrise - not a sunset -, to smell roses in a beautiful garden, to climb a mountain, to swim in a river, or whatever "you always wanted to do but never had the time" then everything becomes clear.
Words and descriptions can not explain what has to be felt.

You are life - or part of it. Are you meaningless? You may think you are, but that's far from true. We all have some "meaning". At the very least, a person who is alive and kicking, is a "consumer" - of energy at least (i.e., food, water).

This makes each person part of the cycle of life. To increase your "meaning" use the energy you take in to positively effect the world around you. Work to improve something. In doing so you expand your relevance to your environment and "increase" your meaning to and within it.

Last, but not least. In asking your question, you have elicited answers from a number of people. Of those answers some number are understandable and therefore have meaning. You caused this to happen. As a result, you too hold some meaning. Okay?

The question you should be asking is: "Is MY life meaningless?" If you answer yes, then you are not really 'living'. You then need to partake in activities that give meaning to YOUR life.

Here's the thing... We have bodies currently. When we die, we at least know that the body is no longer around. Where does the energy go that embodies our persona? Is it a little ball of energy. Does it dissipate upon death?

TO say that we go to heaven or hell, and imagine people with bodies showing up at a place, I don't think is quite accurate, since the body is no longer with us. That's why when you read about no differentiation between sexes in heaven (or hell, i guess) that we really are a ball of energy, and it exists somewhere. Where that somewhere is, That is the question.

It's a fair question. Those who have never asked themselves it haven't faced it with rigour, and most simple refutations come with at least potential holes in them.

From Ecclesiastes to Douglas Adams, writers of some awareness have at least noted the possibility.

Life "...is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." Shakespeare's Macbeth.

Given that, quiz those who are assured of their meaning to see if that have found something solid, or have simply, for comfort, moved to a smaller universe of their own devising. (from Douglas Adams: see URL)

I'm betting that the universe is fundamentally without purpose or meaning, except for that which we can construct for ourselves, be that in concrete or a house of cards.

No. Life is in your hands. Make it meaningful. Do what you love. Love yourself. Love others. Love life. Enjoy yourself. Make the most of it. It's up to you. It's only meaningless if you see it that way & if you don't do anything with it & get no joy out of it.

Essentially, yes. Nonessentially, anything can have meaning.
