I would try platyes. I know they aren't exactly the same but they are somewhat similar. I have a couple with my green tiger barbs and they do fine. The barbs don't really bother them at all.

Tiger Barbs are semi-aggressive fish. They will probably kill the Mollies.

The barbs as stated previously may nip the fins of the slower swimming mollies. if you do keep them together ensure there is enough space and plenty of plants/structure. a group of each would be better than 1 barb or 1 molly.

Tiger-Barbs are Fin-Nippers!!!
They are also semi-agressive and need to be put into a semi-aggresive community with fish who know how to handle themselves!
Maybe try Tiger Barbs with Gouramis?

usually not. tiger barbs are semi-aggressive. and will attack the fins of slowswimmers, like mollies. you can put other fast swimming fish that are the same temperment as them

I have kept the both together and all was OK. remember to keep tiger barbs in groups of atlease 6 or more and they will not attack other fish and will keep to themselves.
