It's simply unbelievable.
This is a battery powered, portable LED-lit sign, folks. And look, NOBODY goes and gets official "permission" before they put up handbills.
Anybody who looked at it and concluded it was anything else is a moron, case closed.
What sort of idiot would plant a bomb and then adorn it with a bunch of LED's, thereby drawing attention to it? (not to mention placing them in high-up locations where going off wouldn't do a damn thing)
Jesus.

if they want to advertise they can rent a damned billboard or create a commercial. they knew it was wrong so they snuck it in. for all the money and manpower they wasted they should be triple charged. the precautions we now have to take due to terrorism made the laws reaction neccessary but terrorism charges should not be brought against the idiots instead they should repay every cent that was spent x 3and be forced to clean up bostons other illegal advertisments around the city. teen aqua force should also be banned. forever. just like the carls jr ads. they are so bad i can't even bring myself to eat there.

This is a simple case of idiot officials seeking to cover thier ***'s when caught over reacting to a harmless promotion stunt. Notice in the other cities this promotion occured in no hysteria took place. Thank God I don't live in Boston. If this is an example of leadership in that city it must be run by morons

Charging the two arrestees as terrorists is going too far. But they should sue Turner Broadcasting for all the resources that had to be used for nothing.
If they had gotten a permit to advertise, which is the normal channel one must take, the cities involved would have been aware of the campaign and none of this mess would have happened.
(Those devices are going for hundreds and possibly thousands of dollars on eBay!)

If they were bombs people would be asking why they didn't error on the side of caution. It's better to shut down then risk having people lose their lives. Personally I thought it was a stupid stunt. You can't just put advertisements where ever you want. Basically it becomes graphiti or a nausance.
