Yea, my friend's friend thinks she's fat and she's actually really skinny. I don't think I'm fat, even though I'm really skinny too. I'm more afraid of being skinny than fat. When you're skinny, you aren't getting enough food. When you're fat, you're getting more food than you need, which is better than being skinny, but I'm not saying being fat is good.

hi.
haven't you seen the articles and pictures in the magazines. how they deplete the way a woman should look. they suggest that women should look a certain way. this particular suggestion is intimidating to those who have low self esteem. always saying how much a tall woman should look at a certain height. a woman of 5'7' weighting 110 or less just ant healthy. or a woman who is the height of 5 feet even should weigh 80 pounds or less that is ridicules. and the guys don't make it any better if a girl puts on five pounds they make sure that they tell her in there stupid ways. if that is not enough there is always the good old fashion excuse we want to be beautiful for our guys . no matter how bad they look fr us.

I think it's all about self-confidence and self-awareness. We stress about that second chin, that roll of our tummies, or the fact that we don't fit into our high school jeans anymore. I think the mentality is if we can see it, and it irritates us, then by golly men should be horrified. If we don't feel we're sexy/thin/pretty enough, there's not enough compliments in the world to change our opinion.

We are just self-concious that's all, because we see others that are skinny-er than us, and we worry about it...just a girl thing.

ON TV THEY'RE ALWAYS SHOWING YOUNG GIRLS THAT THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN BE ACCEPTABLE IN THE EYES OF MEN IS IF YOU CAN SEE YOUR RIBS AND PANCRIAS!! MY SISTER THINKS THAT SHE'S FAT AND I ALWAYS TELL HER THAT SHE'S NOT BUT SHE DOESN'T BELIEVE ME. IT'S SICKENING. :(
