Ashanti is cute and sounds great in the studio. Amerie has a beautiful voice and is captivating on stage. Mary J. Blige is the queen of hip-hop soul (always and forever). Christina Aguilera has an astounding & immaculate voice (I get goose bumps!). Mariah Carey is a legend; she has an untouchable range and voice from heaven. BEYONCE (clearly I'm a fan) has an amazing gift for performing; her range is nothing like Mariah's but she can sing live better than any other entertainer in her generation!!!

Christina Aguilera. I would like to hear any of the others match her notes. The only ones that might come close are Mariah Carey and Beyonce, and they still might have to be fixed up.

Mariah has the strongest vocals, and the biggest range and yes she can sing. But I like the way Mary delivers b/c she is full of passion but not the best voice. Christina can blow but she is not my taste and the others are pop macinhe fluff.

Ashanti, Beyonce and Amerie are just entertainers with mediocre voices.
Mariah Carey can sing but to me she is so plain.
