In 1878...When a bunch of English officers were playing in India they found some villagers and had a test match with them.
The village Indians had nothing to lose so, they made a deal with the English officers.
If, the village Indians win they wont have to pay taxes for two years.
If, English officers won the Indian village would pay double taxes.

India played first cricket test match against England at Lords, London from 25th to 29th June, 1932 under the captaincy of
C.K. Naidu. England won that match by 158 runs.
