I am trying to be sweet for Valentines...what can I do?

Plan a surprise 'kidnap'! Book a room at a hotel. Pack up your suitcase and make arrangements to pick her up from work that day. Or if you can't do that, tell her you're taking her out to dinner, etc. Make up some excuse to get her in the car with you. If you live together, you can pack up her things in a suitcase too. If you don't, then possibly buy her things you think she'd need for the night.
Once she's in the car, whisk her away to the hotel and tell her that you're 'kidnapping' her for the night! It's especially neat if you can find a hotel with an indoor pool and a nice dining room. Have a few little Valentine's gifts tucked away in your suitcase and surprise her with them throughout the evening. Place them around the room when she's not looking for her to come across.

Make her a wonderful candle lit dinner with soft music playing in the background. Dance a slow dance or two have some champagne or wine. Don't forget the flowers and candy.
