Yes definitely yes.

I think there are reasons for it. 1) Most Cele's has money so they can fight back with lawyers. 2) They know someone rich and high in authorities so they can pull some legs and get away easy.
3) Many times authorities will let them slip by to help project the image of the soft side and friendliness of the police and authorities. Unless the crime is absolutely horrendous.

It depends on the celebrity. A celebrity that has not had a recent promotional event probably does not get special treatment. A celebrity who's been in the news lately probably does.

UK; Yes they do, but not necessarily as you would imagine. Here, many high profile celebrities do get imprisoned for offenses that ordinary people would not. Mick Jagger was once sent to prison for possessing cannabis (back in the early 70's) whilst other more recent cases have resulted in similar jail terms. There is very little political pull on police investigations of 'ordinary' crime but it is without doubt a fact that Freemasonry does play a part in lenient sentencing............

Yeah, unfortunately. And it depends on how big of a celebrity. Paris Hilton got a DUI and probably never lost her license; Michael Vick isn't gonna be punished severely because there's too many Falcons fans!!

Sometimes. Even if they do they recieve enough public humiliation to last a lifetime! Mel Gibson's comment was innapropriate but if any man who wasnt famous had said it the cops would not have made a huge deal out of it.

Yes i think sometimes they do because of what and who they are and also who they know but there are times when they are used as an example to not make it look as obvious so they may slap a DUI from time to time but in other instances they usually do

Yes, absolutely, everything from being asked for autographs by the cops to getting a better deal in court because they can afford a better lawyer.
