Never to recieve another best answer? It sure feels like it. I miss the yahoo emails saying ..."blah blah blah" whatever they said . something about getting a best answer.....sigh.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself, it'll affect the quality of your answers. Just answer the best you can. Realize, also, there are so many people participating that it's tough to get your answer right out there in the front of everyone.
I firmly believe that some people may not look through all the answers if there's more than 30 (capacity of first page), especially if they find a good enough answer in the first group of submissions. Unfortunately, your answer may be a better one, but posted on the 3rd page of a question that could have 56 answers.
I definitely look through all of my answers to the questions I've asked, but I have never had more than 22 responses on any of my questions. Plus, I am sincerely interested to hear what other people have to say.
Anyway, have faith!!

Keep trying it will come to you. Look for questions you can provide unique insight. I have a 38% best answer rating, it does happen. Make sure each answer is well worded and insightful (I hope that includes this answer!).

You will get it. Sometimes when i feel like one of my answers are really good, they are not and the ones that i do not even try for get a best answer. so just start typing what you feel and meaning what you say and it will most definitly come.
