Algebra and Geometry are such different subjects. Some people excel at both, some do poorly at both, and all the permutations and combinations apply. :-)
Algebra appeals to people with really good arithmetic skills... lots of adding of coefficients, multiplying, dividing, exponentials, finding factors.
Geometry covers a wide array of topics, including angles, shapes, congruency, proofs, logic, if then statements, sometimes probability. Geometry is definitely more of a visual topic that requires imagining shapes, imaginary lines, how one angle in a triangle relates to another, and even 3D shapes.
You can definitely do well in both subjects. Each requires a different learning method, and one subject you may find harder than the other. Keep at it, though, and do all your homework, ask plenty of questions, and get help from someone who understands the subject better, and you can really excel!!!! :-)
Truthfully, you have already done well in Geometry, only 2 points less than Algebra, so I can see that even though it has been harder for you, you have persevered! Good for you!

That statement is not entirely true. Some students find one easier than the other depending on if they are a visual learner or not. If geometry is harder for you, you might have to study a little more than you did for algebra. In geometry, there is a lot more memorization of vocabulary and theorems, so make sure you understand all of those and learn how to apply them.

Don't sell yourself short! I was honor roll when I took Geometry and Algebra. You too can excel at whatever you set your mind to.
I was in high school over 25 years ago. In my experience the other students who where proficient in algebra were also within their realm in geometry.
My point isn't that our experiences differ, no not at all. The point is that you cannot make a self-limiting judgment based upon such a small sampling such as our experience. We both had a small (comparatively) groups of people we interact with.
So please don't limit yourself on such little experience. You can excel in both. Your only limit is what work your willing to perform in order to achieve.
Hope this helps

he shouldnt concern touching directly to the psat. it skill absolutly no longer something. the only ingredient is that if he's in the right 99th percentile he's eligible for a scholarship which only few pupil who're in the right of the country recieve. the psat is only to grant him a sense for grew to become into the sat is going to be like. save some time and money, and wait till till now the SAT for sending him to classes yet i advise taking algebra 2, only because of the fact that's greater substantial usual.
