I think it's awesome. I wish I had the opportunity to see them back in the early 80s.

I can't wait. I hope they take it on the road. They were one of my favorite bands growing up, and they were one of the few 80s bands who defined the era, but weren't confined by a particular sound. They were very creative with their music.

"Don't stand so, Don't stand so, Don't stand so close to me"Just heard this song on the radio yesterday from the Police.I was wondering why they were playing their music.I think it's a great idea that the band is getting back together. I never really was a fan of Der "Sting"les solo music. This ought to be pretty exciting. Plus it'll give bands like the Rolling Geezers um er Stones a run for the money.Whats next though? Grace Slick back on stage with Jefferson Airplane, lol?

I would love it, but I dont think it will happen. I thought Sting and Stuart hated each other's guts, and Andy Summers isnt interested either...
I saw them too, on a double bill with The Go Go's, and believe it or not, The Police Played first, opening for The Go Go's!!!!

Da doo doo doo. Da da da da. (That's Russian for Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!) I had the chance to see them in the early '80s, but my mom and dad wouldn't let me go. Maybe I'll get my chance now that I'm a "growed up."

Even though I'm not their biggest fan- I'll be there if tickets are reasonable and they come in my area (no way I'd drive more than 3hrs. to see them). I can think of a lot of other bands I'd love to see reunite more.

if they play as good as they did in the 80.s then it would be a good thing.

i think it's awesome, too, but you know the tickets are gonna be way too expensive and they'll only visit a few US cities.
