Instead of very good record on papers,our indian team often lack killer instinct and this often leads to losing some matches. do you think with this type of approach india can win this world cup facing teams like south africa and australia?

India can certainly win many international cricket matches including the world cup but our players are no longer playing for their country but for themselves only. Some players are so much financially secured that they don't really care if they perform well or not play at all. Everyone associated with cricket is driven by money. We will have nice stadiums, and 24 hours cricket coverage and all that but cricket has lost its true spirit and what we see as cricket is not cricket.
In this climate what difference would it make if India wins the world cup or not?

No way my friend. I know all you Indian fans are so desperate. But to be true Indian team is very very far from even gettin the right team together. Very bad selection, inconsistancy and not enogh competition for batting spots are few of the problems India facing. Biggest problem I see is that every Indian forgets their 100 loses once they win one game. Try change these attitudes, you might have a chance in the next worldcup. Otherwise nightmares of India losing worldcup will last for another 50 years for you guys.

India can defenitely win the world cup if the players play to their potential consistently. A lot of changes have taken place in the approach of the game by Indian Team of late.

Sorry to say this but lets face the reality which is as clear as it can be......no india cannot win the world cup this time bcoz i think there are better contenders like australia,S.A.,srilanka........i know its hard to gallop being an indian but one cant win something as huge as world cup just by mere expectation of millions of people.....u have to perform on the field......india can definitely reach the semis.....

i am very sorry to say that we dont have a chance. this is just an honest answer. the aussies are much better prepared.
the pakistanis have some superb bowling attack. even west indies have some big hitters.
I think india will reach the semi final at the max
