hey buddy,

For this u must know the C++ OOPS Language then u can learn JAVA its very easy to learn also if u wish contact me personally i will give u few notes thro Internet sharing and u can learn using of that it will be very good, all the notes which i am going to use its very good personally given by the Sun System since i am a member

Someone already suggested Java tutorial, I vote for it. Apart from it you can find a lot of other online resources, Like Thinking in Java (ecopy can be downloaded free of cost) http://www.mindview.net/Books/TIJ/
Covers a lot of OOP principle based on Java. The best book in my opinion which covers OOP very well is OOAD by Grady Booch.
There are a lot of blogs by great people like Martin Fowler and likes, you can read them as well.

The java tutorial at java.sun.com is the best tutorial there is.
