But he's a "Great Leader"(tm), and he doesn't listen to polls or care what happened in the elections. He's wiretapped the Pope's direct line to god so he can be infallible too.

I think he has owned up to some mistakes being made. I do support him and think that he is doing a Fair job even in Iraq so I disagree with you about his critics being right as a whole. They are right on a few issues. As for Bush's character well he does what he says even while the media is bashing him and the many world leaders want help him. Most of the people in the UN felt that something needed to be done to get rid of Saddam and even while he violated 14 UN resolutions they did not have the balls or character to deal with him. Bush is not a coward like the UN cowards.

Matter of opinion that I just so happen not to agree with. When will the liberals admit that they were wrong about the war? I may not agree with all the decisions President Bush has made, but he has my respect. He stands by his word & does not change his views because the wind blew in a different direction!

Might as well ask why the sun shines---it's just the way things are.

Now, why so many people voted for him, well, that's question of a different color....

Many rich kids are raised to be spoiled brats. Add to that the fact that he's not too bright (got his degree thru' legacy admission...), and the fact that his parents are die-hard Republican conservatives, and that his mother has the compassion of a stone (remember the remark about the Katrina victims in the stadium???), and you have someone without maturity or character, who thinks that someone will rescue him from every error of judgment, just like they have all of his life.

Unfortunately, I think it will have to be the Dems that are going to have to TRY to rectify his mistakes. I say "unfortunately" not because I think the Dems are incapable of it, but because I think that there are so many domestic problems that they SHOULD be working on as soon as they take office, but they will be handcuffed by the mess in the ME brought on by the megalomaniac that is currently called the president.

What good would come from admitting mistakes? Would the left suddenly embrace the President and support him in the war effort? The president doesn't believe his critics were right so why would he pay lip service to them just to make you happy. Many people know that the war in Iraq is absolutely winnable. Our biggest obstacle is overcoming the irrational calls for withdrawal by the left in the US.

So you think getting rid of Saddam was wrong? Seeking to set people free is wrong? Freedom and liberty is wrong? Justice is wrong? Proactivity is wrong? Not sticking your head in the sand when a problem arises is wrong? Your definition of maturity and character are quite twisted if you think Bush is immature and lacks character!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because the Saudis fed him, i.e., put food on his table, when he graduated from college. George Waleed Bush never had to face the real world which helps build maturity and character.

What mistake in the middle east? Name a mistake with evidence please? Iraq's government is praising USA, we are winning a hard, and long war. It is only Liberals who say we are losing, for their own political gain. When you aren't so snowed by liberal media, ask you question again. I don't think you will.
