Eat some oranges like right before warm-ups and don't eat fast food a couple of hours prior to the game AT ALL. The fast food will set in your stomach and make you slower than hell on the court. Relax and take a HOT shower possibly just before you go warm up. It all depends on how sick you are. Unless it is the national championship, conference title championship, or the NBA finals then I wouldn't push it man. You will become even more ill if you push your body where it doesn't want to go. And stay away from pasta and pizza because the sauces and oils will just sit in your stomach just like a cheeseburger and fries would. You will be slow at first but in event of being slow if you just play hard and get after then hopefully in the morning your 'virus' will be long gone out of your system.

Your body will be weak because you have not been able to take in anything. Pasta and pizza are good quick carbs to get your body ready real quick. A shot of milk would not hurt either.

Eat a banana half an hour before your game. A banana helps settle your stomach. Everyone on my team either eats a banana or takes pepto before any practice or game.

just go play as normal....you will be surprised how well your muscle memory kicks in.... i had that my freshman year of college ball and it was my most relaxed game ever, 17 points, couple of rebounds and assists, and i didn't eat for 2 days. If you are good, it will show dude, no matter what....good luck...

smoke some weed the night before the game, and leave your gun at home. don't leave any of your gold chains in your locker unattended.
